XCOM 2 is a brief sequel to the game in the genre of tactical strategy, the first part of which was released back in 2012 and gathered a huge number of fans around the world. Events will take the player twenty years after the story in the first part, where an unconditional surrender was signed by world leaders. Alien invaders began to rule the entire world and have gained complete control over all aspects of activity, as well as over human lives. Now the massive and once powerful organization called XCOM has been shut down once and for all. Aliens began to build multifunctional cities, promising the entire population a bright future. But the promises have not been fulfilled, for everything has been done to destroy humanity. Only those people who belonged to the organization HCOM know this, so they decided to immediately take action and eliminate all the aliens by any available means.
