It's all about the fact that a major meteor shower, which managed to wipe out a larger percentage of our planet in no time, started from nowhere. Not many casualties at first, as the first fireballs fell on sparsely populated areas. The rain continued for quite a long time, causing a tremendous amount of casualties in the Earth's population. But that's not the worst part. The worst thing was that terrifying alien creatures with powerful powers began to walk the planet. Now all the military and scientists of the planet have decided to combine their efforts to defeat a terrible force and destroy all those who stand on the side of evil. Now the entire human race is in danger, and on your shoulders falls the responsibility to save it.
