Bloodstained Ritual of the Night is an adventure game that successfully belongs to the platformer genre, where you find yourself in a two-dimensional space to fight your treacherous opponents and reach your goal by any available means. The visuals are brilliant, the music complements the atmosphere, and there are plenty of innovations to keep you entertained. The storyline is packed with surprises and twists to keep you hooked as you go along. You'll discover the story of the protagonist named Miriam, a role you'll play on an exciting, but dangerous journey. The thing is that on the girl was imposed a terrible curse, due to which she turns into a crystal. Alchemy has affected her in such a way that gradually her skin turns into a crystalline surface and, accordingly, you have little time left to stop the effects of the unfortunate curse. You are sent to a huge castle, whose main inhabitants are ruthless demons. You will have to thoroughly explore every room of the castle in order to find the person who also suffers from this affliction, and then learn from him the entire struggle with the curse and how to stop it. Traps, dangers and creepy creatures await you, capable of destroying you in no time. It is only through dexterity and wit that you can surmount all of this and thus save yourself from ruin by achieving your goal as quickly and efficiently as possible.
